The Management Board

The President

Mr Jacek Marcinowski graduated from Poznan University of Technology and The Columbia Senior Executive Program at Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a licensed broker and advisor in securities trading.
From 1997 to 1999 he was the Managing Director of WBK Asset Management, and from August 1999 to March 2001 he was the Marketing and Sales Director. From April 2001 to beginning of 2002 he was the President of WBK Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych. In January of 2002 Mr Marcinowski was appointed the Management Board Member of Bank Zachodni WBK, responsible for Business Strategy Division. Between 2002 and 2010 he was the Management Board Member overseeing Bancassurance, Branch Partner Program Development, and Private Banking Department.
At the beginning of 2011 he again took over the role of the President of the Management Board of BZ WBK TFI SA. At the same time he oversees the bancassurance business at Bank Zachodni WBK, and is in charge of development strategy of investment and deposit products. He is also the Managing Director of the Investment and Savings Product Committee (DWG). Mr Marcinowski is also the member of supervisory boards of Aviva TUŻ and Aviva TUO, and of Bank Zachodni WBK Group entities: BZ WBK Aviva Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie and BZ WBK Aviva Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Ogólnych.

Member of the Management Board

Mr. Zimpel is a member of the Management Board and Investment Director of BZ WBK Asset Management S.A. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (1989). In 1994, he joined Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy, where he worked initially in the Risk Management Department, and between 1996 and 1997 in the Asset Management Department. Since 1997, he has worked at BZ WBK Asset Management S.A., initially as the manager of the Equities Department and since September 1999, as the Investment Director. In April 2000, he joined the Management Board of BZ WBK Asset Management S.A. He has served as a member of the Supervisory Board of BZ WBK Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA since March 2001.

Member of the Management Board

Ms. Marlena Janota is a graduate of Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, faculty of Organization and Management. She has worked in the financial services industry since 2001. Initially, between 2001 and 2005, she worked for GTFI S.A. (currently Idea TFI S.A.) as Marketing and Retail Distribution Director. In 2005-2008 she was with BZ WBK AIB TFI S.A., where as Strategy and Development Director, she co-created and implemented the strategy of company development, launching new funds and new distribution channels, among others. In 2008-2010, Marlena worked for Xelion. Doradcy Finansowi sp. z o.o. , part of Bank Pekao S.A. and UniCredit S.p.A., where she was responsible for creation and operation of Product and Sales Support Department.

In July 2010 she joined BZ WBK AIB TFI S.A. again as Sales and Marketing Director, and in October 2011 she was appointed the Member of the Management Board of BZ WBK TFI S.A. and BZ WBK Asset Management S.A.
